Danish electronics company Hennodahl A/S has re-entered the market, strengthening its offering with both in-house products and contract manufacturing services. With a focused investment in an ESE printer and Hanwha pick-and-place system, the company is now equipped to handle advanced PCBA production, including fine-pitch and 01005 component placement.

At the end of June, Cynergy SMT was approached by Hennodahl, one of Denmark’s early pioneers in electronic manufacturing services, based in Herning. We had supported their Siplace equipment many years ago, but the collaboration had gone quiet, until they recently contacted us for spare parts for a placement line dating back to 1997, which was still operational.
It soon became clear that while the legacy machines had served them well, newer requirements, such as handling 01005 and microBGA components, demanded a more modern, precise solution. Together, we evaluated production scenarios and identified the advantages of upgrading.
Our recommended setup included the Hanwha SM482plus placement system with intelligent feeders and offline programming, the ESE E2 printer with ecoSA stencil cleaning (ensuring reliable fine-pitch and 01005 performance), and a compact Folungwin 4-zone reflow oven with both pin chain and meshbelt transport, designed for flexible batch and series production.
Within just two months of the initial discussions, the new equipment was installed and running on Hennodahl’s production floor. The company now enjoys smoother workflows, improved precision, and a strong outlook for rapid return on investment. We’re excited to follow Hennodahl’s progress as they build on this new chapter.
